amy 7 months agoSo, how is everyone doing with their walks? I know that isn't a question we ask each other alot, but sometimes we really need to just take a few minutes out of our busy lives and ask the really important questions in life, the ones that matter for eternity. |

amy 7 months agoThanks Maddie, the one from Hebrews is actually just what i need to hear this morning. It sure is amazing that despite my own struggles, Christ is the anchor in the storm, without him i would simply be a ship against the cliff, torn and broken. Thanks again. |

amy 7 months agoSo does anyone have any verses that have been challenging or enlightening lately? My favorite verse that I read about a week ago is James 5:16. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great pwoer as it is working." If you guys ever need prayer, for whatever reason, I'm willing to listen, either post a comment or send me a message, I'll be there. As Christians, it is our purpose to help each other through the hard times, and rejoice together in the happy times. |

Your story sounds similar to mine. Since I started college, I've had a hard time keeping my walk steady. But in the past few months I have been constantly looking to Him to guide me. I decided in April that I was going to read Hebrews and Romans. I finished Romans, and now I'm in the 15th chapter of romans. It has been really cool to hear God speak through the authors of hebrews and romans, and to just see where God wants me to be. I've been reminded alot that God doesn't need me, he just wants me, which is why I titled this net. God wants me?
I find it amazing how he wants me as his own, even though I am a sinful, selfish individual that needs God as much as he wants me.
