About Me
Pastor Randy was born again in September 1971. His life was radically changed and by the spring of 1972 he sensed an overwhelming call to preach the word through God's presence and clear supernatural circumstances. Confused and bewildered from such a large command he agreed, and began to pray for divine guidance for the next step of obedience. Again God supernaturally gave direction, and Randy headed for south Florida to attend Palm Beach Atlantic College. After only two semesters, Randy received a letter from Ninth Street Baptist Church, in Muskegon Heights, Michigan asking him to join them as a youth minister. As he prayed, again he sensed God sending him there to serve him.
By the fall of 1973 he was not just the youth pastor, but pastor of this little church. He continued his ministry through a number of assignments from the Lord, and education through various means, received his Christian Education degree, and has continued until now, 35 years later, serving the Lord through preaching, teaching, many other types of Christian ministry, now in south Florida.

Introduction To The First Phase Of A Born Again Believer - The Spiritual Infant!
If you have come to repentance, and now are a follower of Jesus Christ you must understand who you now are, and what God is doing inside you, and finally what His will is for your life. The Bible tells us that the secular community of the world around the people that followed Jesus named them "Christians." This name is not our given name by the Lord Jesus Christ. He mostly used the word, disciple. "He said to them, Therefore every teacher and interpreter of the Sacred Writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven and has become a disciple is like a householder who brings forth out of his storehouse treasure that is new and [treasure that is] old [the fresh as well as the familiar]." [Matthew 13:52 AMP] He explains how to become a disiciple also.
"Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also]. 25 For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting]. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life [his blessed life in the kingdom of God]? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his [blessed] life [in the kingdom of God]? 27 For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory (majesty, splendor) of His Father with His angels, and then He will render account and reward every man in accordance with what he has done." [Matt 16:24-27 AMP]
Therefore, you must now understand there are not two classes of born again people, Christians and disciples. If you are not a disciple, you are not going to heaven. So who is a born again Christian? The person who has admitted their sin, and repented [turned away from self rule and spiritual crime] and has accepted God's pardon [Jesus died for mankind's crimes, and God the Father, accepted the payment for them], and started on the new life path of following Jesus Christ as their Lord [absolute authority] is a new Christian. When this beginning starts a revolutionary change begins. The Bible says in 2 Cor 5:17 AMP: "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!"
The third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit actually enters the spirit of the new disciple, triggering a chain reaction of incredible activity. Like plugging a machine into the power source, the spirit of a man leaps to life. God's grace surges into a Christian, awakening their conscience, a thirst begins to do right according to God's will, and a hunger starts to gnaw inside forcing a new born to read the Bible, wanting to know God and His Word.
The Lord Jesus started His basic foundational teaching in this way, "Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous-- with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven! Blessed and enviably happy [with a happiness produced by the experience of God's favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His matchless grace] are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted! [Isa 61:2.] Blessed (happy, blithesome, joyous, spiritually prosperous-- with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the meek (the mild, patient, long-suffering), for they shall inherit the earth! [Ps 37:11.] Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied! [Isa 55:1,2.] [Matthew 5:33-6 AMP]
Our Holy God responds to a person convinced of their unholy, evil state of disobedience and self rule. This poor, spiritual one, finds no way to change or get to heaven. As they mourn over their evil condition, they can only find God's pardon by weakly bending their knees before a Holy God and asking forgiveness. The immediate result is a surge of desire to know and live rightly before God [grace = God's favor, which always results in a person craving and desiring righteousness and then receiving God's hand of power to obey His commandments]. Now, the adventure begins! God continues to pour out His grace and His miraculous work inside the new believer with rivers of eternal life. Are you ready for it?
