My Love Story =]
Hey!
A couple of people have asked me what my love story is i figured i would put it in a blog for anyone else who wants to read it!
ya actually i have a really funny love story lol
here it goes =]
So about 2 years ago i lived in a little town in california called tracy. you could get anywhere in about 10 min if you knew what streets to take lol. There are two main streets. Tracy blvd and Eleventh St.. If you get on Tracy Blvd and keep driving you hit the freeway and thats where i was headed. I was going to community college in the next town over. I was in an emergency medical technician class trying to get my emt license to i could work on an ambulance. I was stopped at the last light waiting to get onto the freeway when an ambulance pulled up right next to me. I smiled and waved and showed them my book so they would be able to see that i was going to school for the same thing. I already had my windows down cuz it was summer so they rolled their down and said hi to me. The paramedic on the ambulance was driving and the emt was in the passenger seat. The paramedic (now my fiance) passed his partner an application packet to give to me with his myspace address on the outside envelope. I said thanks and waved goodbye and then went to class.
At class that night, our instructor told us we had two weeks till our skills midterms and told us to study a lot because it was going to be hard. i was really really nervous because that meant we only had two days in class to study with the equipment because we only practiced skills on thursdays unless you wanted to come in with the other class and practice more on wednesdays (which i did being a perfectionist and all lol). We only had class every tues and thurs.
So since i was freakin out that night by the time i got home from class i took out that packet that i had gotten earlier that day, i logged onto myspace and went on jeff's myspace and left him a comment asking him if he would help me study. I got a comment back the next day saying sure when is your midterm? I commented back saying in two weeks on thursday, when do you have free time? I never got a comment back so i thought he totally blew me off.
About a month or maybe two later i had to my Emergency Room Rotation for the same class. I had to do and 8 hr shift and i figured instead of splitting it into two shifts ill just do it all at one time and get it over with. I was there for about 3 hours when jeff brought in a patient. My neighbor (Maria) that lived across the street at the time was a nurse at the same hospital so i went to her and i was like, omgosh!! thats the guy i was telling you about that said he would help me study for my skills midterm and he totally blew me off! So Maria yelled across the e.r. and said hey jeff heard you blew off my neighbor! What's up with that man? He took one look at me and gasped. He said no, i totally forgot cuz i was going through national registry that week so i was so stressed out. Im so sorry. National Registry is the test you have to take after your classes so that you can work in a hospital or on an ambulance, without you can't work.
So when i got home later that night i logged onto my myspace and i had a comment from jeff saying i am soooo sorry, i totally forgot. I was sooo stressed out because of registry. But i passed =]
So i commented him back saying congrats! Sooo i have finals coming up in a month... will you help me study or are you going to blow me off again?.... =]
He commented me back saying ill help you i promise!
So a couple days later he came over to my house and helped me study. He also asked his boss if he could take me on a ride along so i could see what he did everyday and what i would eventually be doing. After that he helped me study almost everyday for finals up to the night before. And its funny because he was one of the proctors that ended testing us for out finals lol So we had to make sure if i drew his number i traded it in for a different number so i would get a different proctor to test me so that no one could accuse us of cheating if they found out that he had been helping me study. And i passed with flying colors!!! =]
But after that we became best friends and i saw him all the time since he worked in my town, i would meet him and his partner for lunch every so often and we would text back and forth almost everyday. He lived in a house with two other guys and two other girls. They would drive to santa cruz every couple of weeks and build a bonfire and hang out all night, i was included shortly after we started hanging out together all the time.
So about 2 months after my test and all that stuff was over, i was looking for a place to live because i had to move out of the house i was in. I was adopted and i never got long with my adoptive family because i was the only adopted child out of a family of 5 kids and i wasn't treated very well at all. I had been on my own and fending for myself since i was 15 years old and i finally got tired of everything that i was having to put up with so i decided to move out. I was looking around and wasn't having much luck. Jeff and all his roommates lived in a house in the next town over. it was about 20 minutes from where i lived at the time. Jeff had offered me to move in because they had an extra bedroom and the rent would be sooo much cheaper than what i was paying to live at my own house. So i moved in and it worked out nice because i really good job out there for a research company and there was a community college right down the street i was planning to go to.
So i lived there for about a year and jeff and i had started dating about 6 months into me living there. He ended up proposing to me last february two days before valentines day. A couple weeks after he proposed to me he got a job offer from an ambulance company here in vegas and he said he would get back to them after he talked to me about it first. He told me everything they said and asked if i would consider relocating... I thought about it for a while and did a little research and i got back to him with... it could be fun.. lol
So to make an even longer story short haha i relocated to Las Vegas and i live in a really big house right down the street from the hospital i work at and im saving up for a wedding while trying to figure out what school im going to go to next year =]
